lots of little tweaks and organisation
This Land is very different from pretty much every not like other Minecraft servers because it doesn't come from Minecraft-Server culture. It is a safe nonbinary/autistic space first, and a Minecraft serversecond. A lot of the features reflect this.
==Keywords you'll recognise if you've ever played on public Minecraft serversTechnical Features==* Semi-vanilla - just Game changing or obtrusive plugins would make the server less accessible and even more niche than it already is, so we don't have them. Here are the a few pluginswe do have mostly for protection and chat management, nothing game changing.* Survival - all players (including mods and admins) play and build in survival mode, and have done from the very beginning so anything you see has been resourced and built with blood, sweat, and tears. This makes the server very fair - staff have to go mining for their diamonds, just like everyone else.
* Player-versus-environment - this server is not focused on player-versus-player.
* Mature - only players 18 and older are allowed to join.
* Small - currently about 6 regular players.* Whitelisted - something something, words. ==Keywords you might not recognise==* [ Consent culture] - Doing things that affect others without their permission is not how we do things.*[ Autistic space] - run by and for autistic people*Nonbinary friendly - have to apply to join; much easier to maintain a safe place for nonbinary trans people - your pronouns will be respected.* Unadvertised - This Land isn't advertised in standard Minecraft server listings, So we never have any griefersthis way==Extra features maintained by staff==
* Custom AutismChat plugin - significantly more control over chat-related stimulus.
* Effective, Accessible out-of-game communication - Telegram groups for socialising and discussion without having to be online at the same time as others.
* This Wiki
==Other, more volitile selling points, but no less awesomeSocial Features==* Organically evolving [ Consent culture] - Doing *anything* that affects other players without their consent is unacceptable, so don't touch anything without asking. Intentional theft/griefing are unheard of here.*Autistic space - run by and for autistic people*Nonbinary friendly - a safe place for nonbinary trans people - your pronouns will be respected.
* Whimsical admin - Cassolotl makes the server both safe and fun.
Emergent Features
* Small/Quiet - currently about 6 regular players. This Land is intentionally not advertised in standard Minecraft server listings; we grow slowly by tweets, tumblr posts and friend referrals. Even if there were many players
* Organically evolving in-game infrastructure - Nether Network, Jazzable's Everything Farm, Automated Market.
