Talk:Appointing of mods (archived)
If there are going to be more mods than just cassian (and even with just cassian actually) I think we should have a clear and explicit rule: "don't approach moderators about moderator things in-game unless they are blue. If nobody in-game is on blue, send an email or make a github issue."
Also, I can see where you're going with this "I'm not a fan of the idea of banning people for a week as a warning. " and I think I like it. If someone needs to be banned for a week in order to start respecting bounderies, then they don't belong here.
Are mods going to have any more powers than the three you mentioned? Is that just "powers all mods will have"? What about being able to do stuff with admin claims? That might take some pressure off you. Just a thought.

- I nominate Awan. Awan has been playing Minecraft with us for a long time so we know he's probably going to stick around and be long term reliable. And he has experience running his own minecraft server. And he has some people skills. --fallerOfFalls, Extortionist (talk) pronouns: they/them/their/theirs/themself 12:40, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
