'''AutismChat 3.0''' is a Bukkit plugin designed to allow people to fine-tune and regulate the flow of communication and information while playing on the server. Players can tune out global chat, prevent people from making parties with them, or express a desire to socialise. ==Status== Your "status" is a collection of the following information: * What colour badge you're wearing* Whether or not you can see global chat* Whether you're in a party, and if so, who with. Commands: *
/status
- shows your own status*
/status <playername>
- shows the status of ''playername'' Note that you can easily see which colour people are by their username in tablist, party chat and global chat. ==Badge colours== These are based on the [http://www.autscape.org/experience/autisticneeds badge system] at UK autistic gathering [http://www.autscape.org/ Autscape]. ===/white=== This wiki is the default colour when you join, and is equivalent to wearing no badge at all. It's the colour to wear when you feel able to manage your communication without help. Typing
/white
at any time will do the following: * Allow people to create a party with you* Allow people to message you privately* Change the colour of your name in tablist and chat to white ===/green=== Green lets people know that you actively want to socialise. Typing
/green
at any time will do the following: * Allow people to create a party with you* Allow people to message you privately* Change the colour process of your name in tablist and chat to green ===/yellow=== The yellow setting allows private communication only from individuals named on the player's "yellow list"being movedYellow list commands: *
/yellow add <playername>
- adds a player to your yellow list*
/yellow remove <playername>
- removes a player from your yellow list*
/yellow list
- provides a list of everyone on your yellow list currently Typing
/yellow
at any time will do Please find the following: * Remove you from any parties you're currently in that contain people not on your yellow list* Prevent unauthorised players from creating a party with you* Prevent unauthorised players from privately messaging you* Change the colour new version of your name in tablist and chat to yellow ===/red=== Typing
/red
at any time will do the following: * Remove you from any parties you're currently in* Prevent people from creating a party with you* Prevent people from privately messaging you* Change the colour of your name in tablist and chat to red ===/blue (admin and mods only)=== This indicates that you are logged in in your role as admin or mod and here on "official business", or to indicate your availability for mod/admin tasks. Typing
/blue
at any time will do the following: * Allow people to create a party with you* Allow people to privately message you* Change the colour of your name in tablist and chat to blue ==Global chat toggle== Global chat is very different with AutismChat to the chat experience players are used to. With AutismChat, players must type
/g <message>
to send a message to global chat, and those messages are visually different. If you don't type
/g
first, your message will be automatically sent to your party only, or will produce a "no one could read this" error message. Your badge colour can be anything regardless of whether you have global chat page on or off. If your badge colour is white, green or yellow, people can still create parties with you even when you have global chat switched off. If you're in a party with global chat off, you will only see party chat. Commands: *
/gc on
- makes global chat visible to you*
/gc off
- stops showing you global chat Don't feel bad for turning off global chat! It can get busy, and people will be able to see that you can't hear them if they type
/status yourname
. ==Parties== Parties allow you to easily converse with any number of other players without having to type
/g
first. Party chat can only be seen by people in the party with you. Joining parties is done by username. So if you type
/join <playername>
, you also enter into a party with anyone they are currently partied with. Commandsnew wiki here*
/join <playername>
- join someone's party*
/leave
- leave the party you're in There are no party leaders, so players can't be kicked from parties. You can remove someone from your yellow list and/or leave a party if you're uncomfortable. If someone is [[Server rules|breaking the rules]] you can [[User:Cassolotl#Contact|contact the admin]]. ==See also== * [https://docsthisland.googlemiraheze.comorg/documentwiki/d/1IBBq-ru-qQn3SEVy5342BEs_77vo94biNJ3_XFtjFyM/edit?usp=sharing Official AutismChat User Guide]* [http://beeminecraftserver.weebly.com/autismchat.html Official Home Page]AutismChat3
